What is the major ingredient in Vive?
The base of Vive is rice bran and rice germ. We then add cocoa powder, vegetables and fruits along with additional vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, probiotics, prebiotics, herbs, spices and adaptogens (specific foods or herbs that boost immune function) to make Vive a powerhouse of health potential!
Is Vive organic?
Yes and no, the food blend in Vive is organic however Vive is not certified as organic. Not all of the ingredients are certified organic
Is Vive GMO free?
Yes, each batch of Vive is tested and certified to be GMO free.
Is Vive gluten free?
Yes, the ingredients in Vive are gluten free and no gluten is added to Vive.
Will Vive ever be available as a vegan blend?
At some point in the future we would like to provide a vegan Vive formula. The reason we haven’t is because we would need to use larger amounts of a plant protein blend, the plant protein is very grainy and will change the texture and the plant protein is much more expensive.
Is Vive a vegan product?
No, Vive contains a very pure, lactose reduced whey protein and protein from ground flaxseed. The protein we use is also cholesterol free.
Is Vive safe for children?
It’s best to always confer with your doctor before giving Vive to your children.
Is Vive lactose free?
Yes, by labeling standards. There is whey protein in Vive but the lactose in our whey protein has been reduced to a very small amount. The label lists the amount as 0.3% lactose content per serving. People that are lactose sensitive can usually use Vive with no problems.
Is Vive safe to use during pregnancy or during nursing?
Consult with your doctor before taking Vive while pregnant or nursing. However, many moms have used Vive during and after their pregnancy without any issues.
Are there any preservatives in Vive?
No, Vive contains no preservatives.
Does Vive contain any artificial sweeteners?
No, no artificial sweeteners are in Vive. We use only natural ingredients.
Is Vive diabetic friendly?
Yes, in fact diabetics using Vive tend to see their blood sugar management improve over time. We know this through many testimonies.
Will Vive detox my body?
Yes, but gently. You will notice that Vive will increase intestinal movement helping make your bowel movements regular. This is important for health. However, if you have bloating and gas or you have a sensitive digestive system and fiber causes you problems, start with 1 scoop per day for 1 week. Then increase to 1 scoop twice per day for one week. The following weeks go to the recommended serving of 2 scoops, twice per day. You can experiment to see what works best for you.
Follow this process till you can comfortably take 4 scoops per day. This process will allow your body to get use to the fiber in Vive slowly easing any digestive issues.
What is the best way to use Vive?
For optimal results you should have two servings of Vive per day. Our recommendation is one shake in the morning to start the day and another shake later in the day such as early afternoon or early evening.

You can add any foods to Vive to super charge Vive. One you might want to consider is ground flax seed or ground chia seed mixed with Vive for breakfast. It is very filling and adds additional omega 3’s that are super anti-inflammatory.

Is Vive good for athletes?
Yes, Vive helps athletic performance in many ways. It can increase energy potential, endurance and make the recovery time faster.
What is the best way for Athletes to use Vive?
Check out our link Vive for Athletes. For optimal results athletes should have two servings of Vive per day. Our recommendation is one shake in the morning to start the day and another shake as a post workout drink. If you are on a rest day have your second shake as a snack. If you are taking Vive for a pre-workout shake take it 1 hour to 45 minutes before your event or workout.
If you are a participating in high intensity long distance events you can use ½ or even 1 scoop of Vive at the midway point of a 3-hour or longer event as an added boost. Mix ½ scoop or even a full scoop in a water bottle, shake and drink.
